I was talking to a friend of mine three or four days ago and we were going back and forth about the error message that comes on from the Xbox 360 overheating. She was telling me I should roam the internet for things to fix it, but I'm the "safe do it correctly" kind of guy so the first thing I did was contact Microsoft.
All I can say is I wasn't a big fan of the stuff they were telling about having to spend $150 to get it fixed, and I needed to give them 4-6 weeks to get the game console back to me. Okay, who in the world actually hangs on every word they say? Well, I was, but I wanted to check the internet like Katie said and see what I could find. Of course all of them were saying it was a hard drive failure from my Xbox 360 overheating.
Only problem was they were all saying I would have to send it in. So I actually packed it up to have it shipped out the next day, but Katie sent me a text with the web address to this video to watch some way to fix the Xbox 360 overheating problem by using towels. I watched it, tried it, and after about the third chance it worked. I was so excited, and for about an hour I played until the issue happened again. So I went back on to see the video again, but came across this thing about how the towel trick could ruin your hard drive, which of course confused me.
I don't even remember how I ended up here at 3redlightfix but everything happens for a reason, and it took 1 hour to fix my Xbox 360. Absolutely loved the videos that show you what to do. People don't understand how big of a difference it is when someone sees it first hand instead of having to picture everything in your head. We want easy people! Your website did that for me anyways. I haven't had any problems since then and haven't even noticed my Xbox 360 overheating either.
You guys have really cheap prices for how easy you make everything. Oh and if anyone else is reading this, they have a money back guarantee that will be a full refund after an hour! I thought that was pretty cool, that was actually what pushed me over the edge because I didn't have anything to lose. However, I did check you out before hand just to make sure you were legit. Glad you were, and still blasting the Guitar Hero III thanks to you for the great guide.
